 Conduct internal and external planned (PM order) and unplanned inspections on static equipment. perform failure analysis on stationary equipment to determine root causes of failures. Assistance with interpretations of Codes and Standards. In-depth studies of testing requirements and NDT procedures for specific stationary equipment. Develop inspection procedures and establish routine monitoring programs for each piece of equipment. Schedule inspection of stationary equipment with operations and maintenance personnel. Review of WPS, PQRs, WPQRs, Method Statement, NDTs procedures & ITP for new fabrication of equipment, piping, and structures. Evaluate the results of all inspection and NDT data and determine the most optimal cost-effective repair method and issue an inspection report (work sheet) outlining the repair procedure and QA/QC steps. Turnaround inspections according to the job list and scope of work prepared prior to shutdowns. Maintain equipment history to identify Bad Actors & to define the inspection methodology & its frequency. Monitor and perform inspections and audits of outside shop activities. Review the design package for the projects to convey the QA/QC and reliability requirement. Perform on-stream inspections on stationary equipment. Work with minimum supervision following all safety procedures, company rules and regulations.


 Knowledge and understanding of process units and equipment is required. Strong technical knowledge of corrosion, corrosion mechanisms, environmental assisted cracking, and materials. Detailed knowledge of relevant NACE/API/ASME/ISO codes and standards. Strong technical knowledge of Welding and NDE. Strong understanding of materials, failure mechanisms, and corrosion issues. Capable of selecting and designing of corrosion management, corrosion mitigation and monitoring programs. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills with a well-developed sense of urgency. Knowledge and skills in business management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Meridium systems.
