Description

 Participate in CPChem corporate fixed equipment mechanical integrity program. Participate in the development of all SChem specific fixed equipment strategies. Provides expertise for corrosion, coatings, analytical tools (FFS, FEA) and other fixed equipment key technical areas. Supports fixed equipment strategies lifecycle. Provide technical support for fixed equipment maintenance, reliability, and operations IAW industry standards and CPChem corporate initiatives. Collaborate with SMEs, including original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and vendors. Drive AIWP work process role-based activities. Support fixed equipment AIWP governance. Support the Asset Integrity Work Process (AIWP) through the effective use of Meridium. Audit and support achieving zero overdue equipment inspections. Identify integrity threats. Support CUI inspections optimization. Support Small Bore Piping vibration measurement Initiative. Monitor dashboards with key AI and reliability metrics. Provide training for the AIWP process. Support procedure and work process development to assure that loss elimination initiatives are achieved through the AI team. Support procedure and work process development to assure that risk management initiatives are achieved through the AI team. Support procedure and work process development to assure that life cycle management initiatives are achieved through the AI team. Support all plants T/A by augmenting the reliability staff as needed. Support all plant T/A while maintaining 100% compliance to safety.



Skills

 Demonstrated knowledge in troubleshooting and making repair recommendations for fixed equipment. API 510, 570 and 571 Certifications. NACE Level 2 Certification. Experience with FFS Level I and II. Root cause failure analysis experience and or FMEA experience. Prior experience with or willingness to learn reliability and inspection tools like RBI / DMR / RCM. Understanding of MI Program activities and data. Experience in Data Mining using Microsoft Excel/Access etc. Understand plant systems from a manufacturing perspective. Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation. Strong interpersonal skills (i.e. listening, resolving conflicts, and coaching) and demonstrated ability to lead by influence. Able to work positively with plant personnel, plant engineers and plant leadership. Proven capability of working with peers from other departments to serve a broad range of plants customers.
