Understands and promotes the concept of proactive safety and takes personal responsibility to seek out “at risk” behaviors and conditions to positively contribute to the overall goal of zero incidents. Handles and support MOC’s and small projects and turnaround, review operating reliability and data analysis as associated with rotating and fixed equipment’s. Assists in implementing Chevron Best Practices Reliability Process into the maintenance and engineering function. Develops and maintains repair and operating procedures and instructions for mechanical equipment. Develops maintenance training process for personnel. Provides special repair procedures and work direction to maintenance personnel. During construction, works with plant construction personnel by providing input, problem solving and ensuring procedures and practices are in place for safe and reliable long-term operation. Prepares and updates replacement and inspection schedules for all major mechanical equipment. Supports mechanical reliability programs and ITPM process to identify gaps and improve overall effectiveness of both individual and department efforts. Evaluates all Mechanical aspects of engineering to ensure all project objectives including safety, technical correctness, budget, constructability, schedule, maintainability, and operability are met. Performs any other relevant task as directed by Lead Engineers. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Three (3) years of experience in Maintenance field preferably in petrochemical sector.
